"He lost a cardigan but found her"
Aanuoluwapo could never sit quietly through an event. So, in 2025 during the Covenant Nation Summer Word Camp and sound was contracted out, she walked over to the media team and asked for a camera. 2 sessions in and super tired, she had to take a stranger's cardigan that was lying fallow for extra warmth during the break. Oluwadamilare came back from his shift on the camera and his cardigan was gone. On the bright side, a beautiful stranger was wearing it.
The “thank you for your cardigan” conversation started and has not ended ever since. Now we are bringing it home to Abeokuta. One day, two ceremonies, and everyone we love in the same room. It isn’t the day we have imagined unless you are in it.
